Perennial. Large daisy-like flowers with long narrow petals supported on a tall strong stem. Best grown in hot sunny positions. Performs well in hot dry locations and on raised flower beds which improve drainage. Take care not to bury the crown by planting too deeply otherwise rotting may occur. Pick of spent flowers and stems to the base of the plant.
