One of Australia's long time favourite annuals. Pansies have such a versatile and ever increasing range of colour to suit every garden and decorative need. They like a well-prepared bed and fertile soil. They are frost hardy and perform best in cooler months, usually late winter and early spring, although flowers may continue into early summer in cooler conditions. Remove some of the first flower buds to encourage larger flowers and pick spent blooms regularly to encourage new buds and prolong flowering.
