Perennial. Freesia flowers will give off a sweet fragrance that will fill a room. Each stem bears 4-8 tubular trumpet-shaped flowers on thin strap-like stems. Native to South Africa, freesia are most attractive when clump together. Seedling will produce corns, these should be left in the ground for several years before lifting and dividing.
