Perennial commonly treated as annual. Mounded plants covered in masses of flat petal flowers in reds, pinks and white. Oval leaves wax-like in appearance range from green to deep bronze and red. If planted to early, plants can be affected by frost. This is not fatal and plant will begin regrow within a few weeks. Prune back in winter, after frosts has finished, to encourage new growth in spring. Can tolerate dry conditions and sun but perform their best when watered regularly and planted in part shade. Frost tender.
